COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT (CDD)
The Community Development Department is closed to walk-in services. Staff will provide phone and by appointment services only. Please email staff or call 480- 362-7600 to request assistance.
Tribal identification cards, address changes, membership applications, low-income housing applications and CDIB’s can be provided via mail, email or other remote option.
CDD staff are available and working remotely via email. Phone messages can be left for all staff through the CDD Main Line 480-362-7600. In-person landowner meetings and developer meetings with staff will not be held until approval for larger meetings is provided. However, conference calls can be scheduled, if needed.

COUNCIL MEETINGS
Due to public health guidance related to the COVID-19, the SRPMIC Council will assess the need to meet on a week-to-week basis. The Council secretaries are available at 480-362-7466.
COURT
The Court will continue to perform essential functions. Non-emergency hearings are vacated. Non-emergency hearings include hearings in civil matters that are unrelated to child custody, placement, or detention status and criminal matters unrelated to custody status. The court will continue to hold hearings for initial appearances and arraignments in criminal matters for defendants in custody, any hearing related to removal, custody or placement of a child or elderly or vulnerable adult, criminal detention, domestic violence, orders of protection, and habeas corpus matters. DEFENSE ADVOCATE OFFICE (DAO)
Staff will continue handling any in custody matters that arise and any emergent matters determined by the Court. Calls will be answered remotely and our practitioners will respond to client calls. Notices have been posted on office doors regarding the changes implemented by the Court.

Providing support to the Salt River Police Department, Fire Department and Sanitation
ENGINEERING AND CONSTRUCTION SERVICES (ECS) Department
Effective March 25, 2020 through April 01, 2020 (or until further notice), the ECS Department will provide “essential services” only. The ECS Department front counter is closed for walk-in services. Requests by phone for general assistance are monitored daily, and messages can be left on the ECS Main Phone Line (480) 362-7900. In addition, the following program-specific phone numbers are monitored daily for customer requests:

OFFICE OF THE PROSECUTOR
The Office of the Prosecutor will continue to operate as usual, with the following limitations:

SALT RIVER POLICE DEPARTMENT
On behalf of the dedicated men and women of the Salt River Police Department (SRPD), please know that your SRPD continues to Serve and Protect our Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC), with skilled, trained and professional SRPD Team Members on-duty 24-hours a day providing Mission Essential Operations and Services for the SRPMIC health, safety and welfare.
The Public Safety Communications Division(Dispatch) has implemented a new screening procedure due to COVID-19, the dispatchers will now ask the following questions: a) does anyone at this location have flu-like symptoms? b) does anyone at this location have a cough? c) does anyone at this location have a fever? And d) does anyone at this location have body-aches? The new procedure will be relayed for either an emergency or non-emergency requesting either Police or Fire service assistance.

- Monitoring the Young Adult Program residents and confirming they have necessary supplies.
- Group homes are fully stocked with necessary supplies.
