In order to better promote development and manage commercial business assets, the Community established the Salt River Development Company in February 2000. Economic diversification, self-reliance, and mutually-beneficial relationships with outside partners are important parts of the Salt River Devco vision. Just like with the SRPMIC government, the impact of every land use or business decision is considered for how it may affect the next seven generations.
