The first Marriott branded property built on US tribal land and the first Marriott LEED® certified hotel was our very own Courtyard by Marriott Salt River. The hotel is a custom creation unique to the Akimel O’odham (Pima) People and the Xalychidom Piipaash (Maricopa) People, featuring photographs of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community taken by Thosh Collins. It features over 8,000 square feet of meeting space including the Eagle Mark Ballroom, an award-winning dining experience in the Bistro, and easy access to popular destinations in the Talking Stick Entertainment District.
