Career Start is developed to support SRPMIC High School Juniors & Seniors to pursue Work Study. This wonderful opportunity will allow eligible students to qualify their work hours toward 1/2 High School Graduation credit.
Start developing your work skills early!
Application Availability Dates:
Available: Monday, December 29, 2025
Deadline: Friday, January 9, 2026 by 4 pm
Limited worksites available, get your completed applications in early.
Eligibility Criteria:
• Enrolled SRPMIC Member
• Active High School Junior & Senior (verification required)
• Pursuing for Work Student for 1/2 H.S. Graduation Credit
• GPA of 2.5 & above
• Ability to work 15 hours a week starting February 2026

2026 Annual Agricultural Lease Payments – Notice
The 2026 Annual Agricultural Lease payments to landowners will be disbursed on Friday, January 30, 2026.
Payments will be issued by mail, direct deposit, or SRPMIC Pay Card only.
There will be no in-person payout.
Payment Methods
- Mail: Checks will be mailed to the address on file
- Direct Deposit: Funds will be deposited to the bank information on file with the SRPMIC Finance Department
- SRPMIC Pay Card: Payments will be loaded to your Pay Card, if enrolled.
Incorrect or outdated information may delay your payment.
Important Deadlines
- January 5, 2026: Last day to update address, banking information, or Pay Card enrollment
- January 30, 2026: Agricultural Lease Payments disbursed.

Cold outside, warm water inside. Winter break is the perfect time to make a splash at Ske:g Himdag Ki:
Enjoy extended pool hours during school winter break from Dec. 2nd to Jan 5th, Mon–Fri, 11:00 am to 7:30 pm. It’s a fun way for kids to stay active, beat the cold, and enjoy the heated pool with friends and family.
No entry after 7:00 pm on weekdays and 5:00 pm on Saturdays.

2026 Referendum Election – Informational Meetings
Community members are invited to attend upcoming informational meetings regarding the 2026 Referendum Election.
These meetings will provide information on a proposed amendment to change taxable gaming per capita payments to tax-free general welfare payments. Presentations will be led by Community staff, including Doug Patterson, Community Treasurer, and Theresa Rosier, General Counsel.
All Community members are encouraged to attend and learn more about the proposed amendment and the upcoming Referendum Election. This presentation will also be shared during January SRPMIC District Meetings. See District Meeting Schedule HERE.
Salt River Tribal IDs will be required.

To help guide this important work, we want to hear from you. Community feedback will shape future health and wellness programs, services, and outreach designed to support the wellbeing of all SRPMIC members and future generations.
