Tribal Council
The Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community Tribal Council is comprised of nine members: President, Vice President, and seven Council members, representing two districts. Tribal Council members serve staggered terms of four years.
President and Vice President
The President and Vice President are elected at-large and serve a four-year term.

Council Districts
Two electoral districts elect the Council members: District I – Salt River and District II – Lehi.
- Five (5) members are elected from District I.
- Two (2) members are elected from District II.
- Council members serve a staggered term of four (4) years.
District I – Salt River is comprised of five districts:
