Number of participants: Unlimited
Description: Three players play best of 3 rounds of 3-6-3 cycle Cups. Top 4 players with the fastest times will go onto the medal rounds and complete on National Benefits Day.
Play
- Players start with hands on the table waiting for the start signal.
- Players must stack in a certain direction – player’s choice (right to left or left to right). Players must up-stack and down-stack in the same direction.
- Players can only up-stack one stack at time.
- During up-stacking you can only have your hands on one stack at a time. Remove both hands from a stack before beginning building the next stack.
- Players cannot up-stack and down-stack at the same time. Remove both hands from last up-stack before starting down-stacking.
- You must up-stack and down-stack in the same direction. This means the first stack you make is the first stack you down-stack.
- Down-stacking officially starts when all the stacks are up and the player has touched cups to start down-stacking.
- Players must down-stack with both hands on the same stack before moving from stack to stack.
- Players may have hands on two stacks when down-stacking. (May not when up-stacking.)
- Fumbles during up-stacking must be fixed before moving on in a sequence.
- Fumbles happening during up-stacking but after moving on to a subsequent stack will cause players to have to take down all stack in order to go back and fix the fumbled stack before proceeding in the cycle.
- Fumbles happening after all stacks are erect but before players put both hands on a stack to start down-stacking must be fixed following rule# 10 above.
- Time stops when player completes the stack correctly and puts both hands back on the timer to stop their time.
- Player will complete 3 rounds and record time for each round on sheet provided. If player does not complete the stack correctly, no time will be recorded.
- Player will submit their time sheet. Fastest time will be officially recorded. Top 4 players with fastest time will go onto the medal rounds.

Ultimate Frisbee – Team | March 3rd – 5th
Set up:
- Teams will line up on the sideline of field outlined at Friendship Park.
- Each team will field 5 players in-play (number of players may be adjusted)
- Rock Paper Scissors decides who starts on offense and defense
- Play starts with “the pull” which is like a “kick-off in American Football” when teams line up with their back to the end zone they are defending and one team with the Frisbee throws it to the other team.

Play:
- A player on the receiving team catches the Frisbee or picks up the Frisbee.
- The player with the Frisbee may not take any steps, but they can pivot as a player does in basketball.
- The player with the Frisbee must pass within 10-seconds and the defender or “marker” typically counts down the time out loud.
- The player on defense must remain an arm’s distance from the player with the frisbee and no contact may be made.
- Players on offense pass to one another advancing towards the opposing team’s end zone.
- When a player catches a pass they must come to a stop as soon as possible and pass to another player on their team within 10-seconds.
- If the offense team can successfully advance the Frisbee by passing to one another into the end zone that team scores a point.
- After a score, teams line up again and start over.
- If the offensive team drops a pass that is a “turnover” and the other team can pick up the Frisbee and immediately advance by passing down the field.
- If the offensive team throws the Frisbee out of bounds that is a turnover. The other team takes over immediately at the spot where the Frisbee went out of bounds.
- If the defensive team intercepts or knocks down a pass that is a turnover and they take over the Frisbee.
- If the offensive player holds the Frisbee longer than 10-seconds that is a turnover. The offensive player drops the Frisbee and begins playing defense. The defensive play picks up the Frisbee and becomes offense. The new defensive play starts counting down 10-seconds.
- A foul will cause a turnover. If players contact the player that initiated the contact committed a foul and the other player begins on offense.
- Players may substitute whenever play has stopped. Substitute often to “stay fresh.”
- Play continues until a team scores 5 points or 10-minutes has passed.
- Ultimate Frisbee is a Non-contact sport.

Week 2

Description: Rope is placed on a playing field with a flag tied at the half-way point in the rope. Two lines are set on opposite sides of half way flag at equal distances. Teams line up and choose a place on the rope. There does NOT need to be equal number of pullers to a rope. On whistle each team pulls on the rope until the flag crosses their inbound line. Team that pulls flag over the inbounds line wins. Final two matches (4 teams) pull on National Benefits Day with Gold, Silver and Bronze awarded. No new pullers on National Benefits Day’s Championship teams.
Play:

- Pullers grip the rope with their bare hands. No knots or loops should be tied in the rope, and the rope should not be wrapped around any limbs.
- All pulling will be underarm. The hands must stay above knee-level
- No letting go of the rope or attempting to cause the other team to fall
- Teams tighten the rope on signal and maintain tension without pulling.
- Start/stop on whistle. When the whistle sounds continue holding the rope and stand up straight. On the second whistle the rope may be released.
- A flag is tied to the halfway point on the rope.
- Players load each side of the rope
- There are two parallel lines marked 10 feet apart with a marker in the middle (5 feet line).
- On whistle player pull until halfway flag grosses one of the lines.
Week 3
Rock-Paper-Scissors Battle – Team | March 17th – 19th
Description: Teams of any size line up facing each other on each side of the course. On the whistle, the first player on each team hops on targets until they meet face to face on the course. Two players say to each other “Rock, Paper, Scissors, Shoot.” When they say shoot they display the hand-signal for Rock, Paper or Scissors. The loser returns to the end of their team’s line. The first player in line on the losing team starts hopping towards the player who won. The player who won, starts hopping to meet the new player from the opposing team. R-P-S repeats.
