Established in 1994, the Salt River Police Department was the first in Indian Country Law Enforcement to begin a CRIME STOPPERS PROGRAM. The program allows individuals with information about any unsolved crime to call the program 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, remain anonymous and receive cash rewards of up to $1000 for information leading to the arrest or conviction of persons who have committed a crime. Since inception, several homicides, narcotics and trafficking cases have been solved. To make a report, call: 1-800-713-2833

Honor Guard

The Salt River Police Department Honor Guard conducts and supports official ceremonies, memorial services and special events as an official representative for the Salt River Police Department and the Chief of Police. When requested, the honor guard also represents the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community as determined by the Chief of Police.

The 10 members of the honor guard are all volunteers – from across different segments of the police department – who commit many hours to ensuring their appearance and presentation skills are in keeping with the high standards of the Salt River Police Department.
