A Couple of Things to Note About E-Filing

  • Initial Filings are not accepted through the e-filing system due to filing fees not being able to be taken electronically. These type of filings will need to be done in person at the clerk’s window or mailed in with payment at 10005 E. Osborn Rd, Scottsdale AZ 85256, Attention: Salt River Tribal Court.
  • What is an initial filing? An initial filing is a filing that generates a case with the Court. The best way to think about it before e-filing is: Do I already have a case number assigned to me? If the answer is no, then you would need to file in person or mail in your filing with the appropriate filing fee.
  • The Court will process filings Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. All filings filed after 5pm and or over the weekend will be processed the next business day.
  • Most forms require a notary; don’t forget to get your documents notarized prior to filing. Failure to do so can result in a delay of your filing.
  • Once the filing has been accepted by the Court, the individual that filed the filing will receive a scanned, file-stamped copy of their filing at the email address they used. This will be for your records to indicate that you filed with the Court.
