Public Works

The Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community Public Works Department is responsible for the operation and maintenance of all government infrastructure including government buildings, roads, solid waste collection, domestic water, sanitary sewer, and cemeteries as well as all government infrastructures including government buildings.

The Department is organized into four Divisions: Administration; Community Services, Facilities, Utilities and Roads. Each Division is divided into Sections with specific duties and responsibilities.

Over 200 Public Works professional and skilled workers provide services to Community Members, employees, visitors, and commercial enterprises.

General office hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with 24-hour, 7 days per week operations to support all government and public services.

The Mission of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community Public Works Department is to provide prompt, friendly, efficient service to support, maintain, and enhance the SRPMIC and the infrastructure by providing safe, cost-effective services that improve the quality of life in the Community.
