Deanna Scabby

Council Member

Lehi District Representative

Current Term: 2024 – 2028

Deanna is the daughter of Paul and Beverly Smith and the granddaughter of the late Byron and Ida Sebahe.

She and her husband, Bob, are the proud parents of 10 children and the proud grandparents of 13 grandchildren.

Councilwoman Scabby has served on the Tribal Council since 2006 and is the Council representative on the Education Board, Investment Committee, and the Tribal Emergency Response Committee. Council Member Scabby also assists the Piipaash elders with the planning for the Annual Piipaash Matasheevm at Lehi.

One of Council Member Scabby’s goals while in office was to see the completion of the Xalychidom Piipaash Nyvaash for members of Piipaash community in the Lehi District. That goal was achieved.

Councilwoman Scabby continues to defend and represent the people’s interests to the best of her ability.
