Salt River Vocational Rehabilitation

Program Overview

Salt River Vocational Rehabilitation (SRVR) is a tribal vocational rehabilitation program serving eligible Native Americans with disabilities who want to, and are able to work, but may need some support and/or services in order to be successful.

Salt River Vocational Rehabilitation exists to:

  • Provide culturally appropriate supports and services to individuals with disabilities in order to assist them in achieving a positive employment outcome.
  • Provide services and supports based on an employment goal.
  • Support consumers in seeking, securing, retaining, or regaining employment.
  • Provide individualized plans for employment based upon the specific needs of each consumer.

Program orientation occurs on a bi-weekly basis.

Eligibility Requirements

Must meet all of the following:

  1. Have a documented disability that creates an impediment to employment*
  2. Enrolled member of federally recognized tribe*
  3. Live in or near the SRPMIC boundaries*
  4. Be available and able to work
  5. Can benefit from VR services in terms of employment outcome
