Development Selection Assistance — Deliver review and analysis concerning the selection of future site(s) on allotted and/or tribal land that best suits your needs.

Facilitation of Development Services — Provide assistance of development services that includes planning, zoning, permits, business licenses, Right Of Way easements, Utilities; and other services that require attention under an established multi-department team approach focused on completing items necessary for development.

Transportation

Freeway Access and Visibility — SRPMIC has direct access to the Pima 101 freeway and easily connects to the Loop 202 Red Mountain Freeway and Interstate 10 (I-10), which makes the Community easily accessible to the Phoenix metropolitan area. SPRMIC is also 15 miles from the Interstate 10, which connects Florida to California, with accessibility to major markets across the southwest and United States.

Air — SPRMIC is a 15 minute drive from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and 29 miles from Phoenix- Mesa Gateway Airport. Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is served by 17 major airlines with daily service to approximately twenty international cities and 85 U.S. cities. Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport is a smaller commercial airport that serves over a million passengers a year.

CDD/Planning Services Division

Planning and Zoning balances cultural, economic and environmental factors to protect the overall aesthetic of the Community. The Planning Services Division, under the Community Development Department, facilitates the implementation of the Community’s physical environment as it develops economically. CDD/Environmental Protection and Natural Resources (EPNR) Division

EPNR administers environmental regulatory programs, addresses environmental issues, and monitors growth and development to reduce the impact to the Community’s natural resources. Visit the EPNR Site.
