Hiring Incentive

(SRPD $10,000 Hiring Bonus Flyer)

Effective date of the Hiring Bonus Program is Friday 10/29/21

A one-time $10,000 Hiring Bonus for only newly hired SRPD Police Recruits and Lateral Police Officers (former SRPD police officers are not eligible for the program)

The $10,000 bonus will be divided into a one (01) time $3,500 payment upon 30 days of initial hire date, not to surpass 60 days of initial employment; and then a one (01) time $6,500 payment upon successful completion of probation

The Hiring Bonus Program is not retroactive

The Hiring Bonus Program may be changed, modified or discontinued at any time (there is a high overall cap based on current vacancies which will be continuously evaluated).

  • Valid Arizona Driver’s License
  • Completed Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community Application along with completed Arizona P.O.S.T. application

  • The AZ Post application MUST BE notarized and completed at the time of submission. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Now Hiring Police Dispatcher I

The SRPD is seeking highly motivated individuals who are eager to work in a community and department that prides itself on professionalism and community service. The SRPD is a progressive agency that provides its dispatchers with the best equipment, training, and tools necessary to be successful.

Applicants who are hired will receive on-the-job training, assisted by a Dispatch Training Officer. During the training process, the Dispatcher I will learn Department policies, basic dispatching and call-taking procedures, and operation of the Computer Aided Dispatch, radio and phone systems.
