Sexual Assault Awareness Month: Chalk ‘n Walk

​The SAAM (Sexual Assault Awareness Month) Day of Action is an important day held on the first Tuesday of April each year, which falls on April 1st this year. It's a day dedicated to raising awareness about sexual violence and showing support for survivors.This year, the Family Advocacy Center invites you to join us for a "Chalk 'n Walk" event. Participants will use chalk to draw/write supportive messages, statistics, and other awareness-raising content on the basketball court at Friendship Park, followed by a one mile walk around the complex  encouraging others to raise awareness about sexual violence.Here is the sign-up link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0948AFAE29A0FAC25-54902118-sexual             The first 150 participants will receive a State Forty Eight t-shirt made specifically for this event.Take a selfie at the event and self-report to earn 15 Wellpath points.A light meal will be provided after the walk.
