Operations and Guest Services-SRPMIC

The CRS Operation Division provides multiple services to patrons and departments including WOLF membership, daily check-in, facility reservations, security and liaison support. In addition, the Operations division oversees the evening Game Room located in the BGC.

Wolf Membership Eligibility

  • All enrolled members of Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC)
  • Non-enrolled spouses or designated “live-in partners” of enrolled members with the sponsoring SRPMIC spouse/partner present at time of registration, SRPMIC member must show tribal ID.
  • Non-enrolled immediate family members in the same household of enrolled members with the sponsoring SRPMIC family member present at time of registration, SRPMIC member must show tribal I.D.
  • Non-enrolled parents of enrolled children with the sponsoring SRPMIC child present at time of registration, SRPMIC member must show tribal ID.
  • Any foster children and/or guardians of enrolled members with the sponsoring SRPMIC guardian present at time of registration, SRPMIC member must show tribal I.D.
  • All foster parents of enrolled SRPMIC children with the sponsoring SRPMIC child present at time of registration, SRPMIC member must show tribal ID.
  • Non-enrolled children of foster parents caring for enrolled SRPMIC youth in the household, with the sponsoring SRPMIC child present at time of registration, SRPMIC member must show tribal ID.
  • Community group home parents who are caring for Community member children, with the sponsoring SRPMIC child present at time of registration, SRPMIC member must show tribal ID.
  • Any student of the SRPMIC education school district such as SRE, SRHS, or ALA (must provide proof of enrollment).
  •  Membership criteria is subject to review, verification and approval by staff
  •  Current SRPMIC employees with the SRPMIC Government (does not include entities).
  •  Employee Hours: Mon., Tue., Wed., Thur., Fri. 6am-1pm  AND   Wed. 6am-12pm
  • Employees are not allowed guest privileges

Way of Life Facility

Rules

  • Operation hours are:
    • 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday
    • 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday
    • Closed Sundays
  • Employee Member hours: 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. M, T, TH, F and 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Wed.
  • All members must check in to utilize the WOLF. SRPMIC Government employees are eligible for membership. Employees are required to show work ID badge during each visit.
  • Children under 12 yrs of age must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times.
  • SRPMIC enrolled Community members are allowed to bring up to three (3) guests during a visit. Guests will be allowed access to the WOLF, only when accompanied by an enrolled SRPMIC Community member 18yrs of age or over. Guests must depart facility with the enrolled member. Any unruly behavior by guest may result in being denied access to the facility, including future use. Employees are not allowed guest privileges.
  • All participants and visitors must exit the WOLF, facility and grounds, by close of business hours. If any minor(s) are on the premises at closing, WOLF Staff will contact the guardian or emergency contact on file in the membership record. If unable to make contact, proper authorities, including SRPMIC Police Department, will be contacted to ensure the safety of the minor(s).
  • Individuals listed on the Sex Offenders Registration & Notification Act (SORNA) List are NOT ALLOWED in or on WOLF premises.
  • All personal items are subject to search as deemed necessary by WOLF staff.
  • This is a DRUG, ALCOHOL & VIOLENCE FREE facility.
  • Bullying is NOT tolerated.
  • No loitering, running, horseplay or skate boarding in the corridors or stairwells.
  • WOLF staff and SRPMIC will not be responsible for items brought to the WOLF that are damaged and/or stolen.
  • The use and/or distribution of any drug and/or alcohol on the WOLF grounds is prohibited. Patrons that are suspected of being under the influence of any drug or alcohol, or are caught using and/or disturbing drugs and/or alcohol on WOLF property will be directed to leave and the incident will be reported to proper authorities.   • Gang Activity or Gang Attire is NOT allowed or tolerate. SRPMIC Ord. No. SRO-418-2013, § 6-7,3-6-2013.
  • Graffiti is not allowed or tolerated. SRPMIC Ord. No. SRO-402-2012, § 21-3.

The Way of Life Facility (WOLF) staff have the right to refuse admittance and service to anyone choosing to enter the facility, due to violation of rules and regulations, behavior, mistreatment of staff, volunteers and the facility in any way.

Any violation of WOLF rules in shared spaces will result in the WOLF Order of Discipline and/or the department where rules were violated.

Logistics

  • 119,000 SF, 2 story structure
  • Indoor Features include (3) full size Basketball Courts, an indoor pool with waterslides and hot tub, running track, fitness center and elder fitness room, full kitchen with dining area, concessions stand, offices and classroom space.
  • In addition to the 4.3 acreage site- there is an outdoor skate park, little league field, multi- purpose/soccer field, Ramada’s, BBQ stations, splash pad, play area and restrooms.

Other Fun facts

  • CRS provides the following services:
    • Rec. Ed. such as computer class, leisure classes such as sewing, crochet, beading, STEM, etc.
    • Adaptive services (mostly partnered with After School Program and some individual activities such as Adaptive Basketball, craft classes and more).
    • Athletic activities including leagues and tournaments for youth, adult and elders
    • Social recreation (housed in a different location) provides services to school age children such as After School Program and School break camps
    • Community Liaison services (primarily housed and served through the Way of Life Facility location). Target population is youth who are not enrolled in programming and utilize the facility on their own.
  • Youth Services provides the following services:
    • Early Enrichment Program for ages 4-5 years old to SRPMIC children
    • After School Program Services for grades kindergarten- 12th grade, includes Teen WOLF for older youth. SRPMIC children and those residing in community.
  • Health & Human Services within WOLF provides the following services:
    • Fitness Center gym use and fitness classes and challenges
    • Diabetes Prevention Services such as educational and nutritional classes
  • Senior Services within WOLF provides the following services:
    • Senior Fitness Classes
    • Special senior events such as retirement, probate, etc.
