Submit a Crime Tip

Due to the enormous popularity of the World Wide Web, texting, and Mobile based “Apps,” the Salt River Police Department is now utilizing state of the art technology to receive crime tips.

Citizens who have tips regarding the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community have three options to securely submit an Anonymous Crime Tip to the Salt River Police Department.

Note: If this is an urgent matter do not submit a tip here alone. Dial 911 if it’s an emergency!

Option #1 – Web

Web Tips can be submitted from any web browser!

Submit your tip online through this web site by simply clicking on the icon to the left. Your submission is guaranteed to be secure and anonymous. Fill out the form as much as possible regarding information/details.

Note: If you have an emergency, please call 911. Do not use this form to report “In-progress” activities or if you need to file an official police report, please call the Salt River Police Department Non-Emergency Dispatch at (480) 850-9230.

 

Option #2 – Text Message

Tip Soft SMS: Text-a-Tip from any cellular phone!

Tip Soft SMS is 100% anonymous. Texting allows people to notify police when calling may not be feasible or safe. To submit an anonymous tip through texting, send your text to “CRIMES” or “274637”. Next, you will start typing your message with “SALTRIVERPD” followed by your message. When finished, hit send. If the anonymous text needs to be canceled after you send you message, you can then text “STOP“. Text “HELP” to “CRIMES or 274637” for non-emergency help. Option #3 – Tip Soft App

Submit a tip through your smart phone with the Tip Soft App!

iPhone® and Android phone users can now provide anonymous crime fighting tips, including photographs and video, to the Salt River Police Department. This service allows anyone to send anonymous tips online using a custom “App” called “TipSubmit” which is available for free. Any subscriber can download the “App” through iTunes and the Android Market.
