Miss Salt River Mikah Carlos
Mikah Carlos is the 24 year old daughter of Amelia and Michael Carlos. Her maternal grandparents are Magalena Hutchinson and the late Alvin Jacobs. Her paternal grandparents are the late Angelina Carlos and Federick Carlos. Mikah is a junior at Arizona State University double majoring in Psychology and American Indian Studies. She plans to pursue law school with a focus in Federal Indian Policy. She is currently serving as the 2016-2018 co-president for the National Congress of American Indian Youth Commission. In her free time she enjoys volunteering, learning new things, hiking and photography. Mikah's platform for her reign as Miss Salt River is "Using higher education to preserve our way of life and culture."
Jr. Miss Salt River Sistine Lewis
Sistine Lewis is the 16 year old daughter of Cecelia Andrews Lewis and the late Knute Lewis. Her maternal grandparents are Corrine Antone and the late Manuel Andrews. Her paternal grandparents are Carmelita Moore, the late Glenford Lewis Sr. and Jacob Moore. She is a sophomore at Coronado High School. Her hobbies include traditional dancing, playing sports, drawing and spending time with friends and family. Sistine's platform as Jr. Miss Salt River is "Getting Youth involved in Culture."
