Citizen's Police Academy is a Big Hit
On Saturday, December 5, the Salt River Police Department hosted its 11th Annual Citizen’s Police Academy. All 14 participants spent the day receiving information ranging from a variety of topics including our canine unit, Traffic Enforcement Bureau, rangers, use of force, professional standards, crime scene investigations, tribal jurisdiction and Professional Standards Bureau.
Salt River Police Department Participates in Flag Raising Ceremony
On Monday, December 7, members of the Salt River Police Departmentís Honor Guard Team, the Salt River Fire Department, members of the SRPMIC Bushmasters POST 114, members of the GRIC Ira Hayes POST 84, the American Legion Riders POST 39 and the SRPMIC Red Mountain Riders, participated in a flag raising ceremony commemorating the 74th year of the attack on Pearl Harbor.
