Due to damage caused by recent flooding, the IHS Clinic is closed. Under the direction of the SRPMIC Council, clinic services will be relocated to Building 61 (previously the Community Employment building). It is anticipated that clinic services will be restored by early October. In the meantime, limited pharmacy ser-vices are being provided to Community Members from Building 14 (immediately east of the clinic). Other clinic services can be handled through PIMC.
There is no immediate danger or concern with the existing clinic building. The building is not “condemned.” Council made the decision to stop expending funds on repairing the building and instead move forward on the projects necessary to get all staff into newer facilities. The relocation of the clinic, and ultimately HHS staff, is an interim solution to allow the time needed to develop a new facility.
PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE FOLLOWING CHANGES
• Community Employment, including Day Labor, GED, and the Apprentice Program, has moved into the Human Resources suite on the first floor of the Two Waters “B” building.
• Gates leading to the fleet parking lot immediately south of the Purchasing Warehouse will be closed for resurfacing and other work in preparation for the clinic. All fleet vehicles in this parking lot will be relocated to another parking area on the government campus.
• Employees must park in areas that have been designated through their Departments. Visitor parking areas will remain open for people conducting business with the Community.

Dental Services are being offered at PIMC. Services are limited to toothaches and emergencies due to limited chair availability. If you are in pain, you can always be a walk-in patient at PIMC and you will be seen. It would be in the patient’s best interest to wait until the clinic opens in October to schedule for routine dental care. The dentists will still be going to the schools in Salt River for the school program. There is open access for children at PIMC as well.
