Salt River Police Department Promotes Three New Sergeants
On November 12, the Salt River Police Department (SRPD) held a ceremony for the promotion of its newest sergeants: Anslem Flores, Jared Leonard and Christopher Morin. These officers participated in a competitive testing process that included both a written and oral board examination. Members of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community and the Law Enforcement Commission assisted with selection of the new SRPD sergeants.
Salt River Police Departmentís COFFEE WITH A COP
On Thursday November 19, 2015, The Salt River Police Department hosted its monthly Coffee with a Cop session at the Roundhouse Cafť. What made this event unique was Chief Melvin invited newly promoted Mesa Police Chief John Meza and members of his command staff to attend. The event was also attended by members of the Community Council, Administrative Staff, members of the Community and other interested guest.
