Twin brothers with special needs who live outside of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community took a special tour of the Salt River Police Department on June 24. The twins are enrolled in one of the sister tribes, but they have ties to the Community and the Salt River St. Francis Church.
Salt River Police Department Now Has a Permanent MedReturn Drug Collection Unit

Anyone looking to dispose of excess and expired prescription and over-the-counter medications can now visit the safe and secure permanent drop off location at Salt River Police Main station lobby located at 10005 East Osborn Road, Scottsdale, 85256. The MedReturn drug collection program will reduce the supply of drugs that can potentially harm teens and adults.

Members of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community were able to meet Salt River police officers during the evening of July 16 at the Round House Café, located at the Two Waters Complex.
