SRHS Eagles Football Takes Down
James Madison Prep

In their first game of the 2014 season, the Salt River High School Eagles varsity football team hosted the Patriots from James Madison Preparatory of Tempe. The Eagles defeated the Patriots 6-0, marking the first win in their new conference, the Division 1 conference of the Canyon Athletic Association.


Seniors Make Time to Exercise, Do You?

Since 2011, the Salt River Senior Services Department has worked in collaboration with the Salt River Fitness Center instructors to bring the first Enhance Fitness program to the Community. This nationwide program has been implemented by various communities and organizations, including SRPMIC, as a way to improve the health of seniors and older adults through exercise.


Lady Warriors Take to the Court

Over Labor Day Weekend, the Salt River Lady Warriors, the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community’s newly established girls junior high basketball team, played in their second tournament at the Inspire Courts Labor Day Classic in Chandler. The girls played against other competitive teams from around the Valley, including another team from Salt River.
