2014 Walk for O'odham and Piipaash

During the early morning of October 4, Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community members arrived at Friendship Park, located at the Two Waters Complex, for the annual Walk for O’odham and Piipaash.

The walk is a way for the Community to come together as a whole to confront the many negative issues within the Community, and for everyone to just come together and walk for the past, present and the future.

Boys and Girls Clubs College and Career Fair

gallery-02On Friday, September 26, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale hosted a Career and College Fair at the Lehi Community Center within the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community. The fair attracted 75 students who were able to visit approximately 20 booths offering options for a bright future.

Noah Webster Ice Cream Social

gallery-03On Thursday, October 2, Noah Webster Schools held the first Ice Cream Social at the Pima Campus, located on Pima Road and Jackrabbit Road. The Ice Cream Social brought the Noah Webster family together for an eventful evening with ice cream—and who doesn’t love ice cream?
