SRHS Shows Team Spirit During Homecoming Week

“Beat the Knights!!” was chanted by students during spirit week at Salt River High School. During the week of November 3-8, Salt River High School held many festivities for students, staff and faculty. This week allowed for students to show their school pride and help motivate the SRHS football team to beat the Crimson Knights on Friday night. The homecoming festivities ended on Saturday night.

Spirit week was a weeklong event that included these festivities:

Monday, November 3 Oz the Great and Powerful! Students were encouraged to wear green and “bling.”

Tuesday, November 4 Twister Tuesday! Wacky Day

Wednesday, November 5 Which Witch is Which? Students dressed as Twins.

Thursday, November 6 Lions and Monkeys and Bears…OH MY!, Students dressed like an animal. Homecoming Parade Powder Puff Game

Friday, November 7 There’s a Storm Coming! Students were encouraged to wear class colors or spirit day gear Homecoming Football Game Senior Night

Saturday, November 8 Homecoming Dance Homecoming Football Game recap The SRHS football game was on Friday, November 7 at the SRHS Football field. The SRHS Eagles played the Crimson Knights from Heritage Academy in Laveen, Az. The Eagles were dominated by the Knights 22-36.
