Salt River High Eagles Wrestlers Host First Match of the Season

Salt River High School hosted a wrestling match on December 19, inviting teams from Baboquivari, San Tan Foothills, Hayden and Tohono O’odham high schools. Salt River’s junior high wrestlers also had a chance to compete.
The Eagles had their chance to prove themselves in front of their classmates and fans on the mat.


2nd Annual Jingle Bell 13.1 Mile Relay and 2 Mile Run/Walk

It was a chilly Saturday, morning on December 15, 2012, but it didnít stop participants from coming out to the Diabetes Programís 2nd Annual Jingle Bell 13.1 mile relay run and 2 mile run/walk. They were ready run or walk rain or shine.


Lady Eagles Defeat No. 1 Tempe Prep Knights

The Salt River High School Lady Eagles basketball team has much to brag about after defeating their arch rival, the Tempe Prep Knights, on Thursday evening, December 20. The Knights were ranked No. 1 according to the Max Preps latest rankings. The Lady Eagles played the Knights in four games last year, all of which they lost, the last game being the 1A girls championship.


Miracle House Foundation Golf Tournament

On Friday, November 16, 152 golfers participated in the eighth annual Miracle House Foundation (MHF) Golf Tournament, held at Talking Stick Golf Club. The MHF was honored to welcome the 38 foursomes that signed up to play in this year’s tournament, which is an annual fundraiser for the foundation.
