U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) administrator Lisa P. Jackson and new EPA Region 9 Administrator Jared Blumenfeld visited the Community for a tour of the projects that Environmental Protection and Natural Resources has been working on. Here they walk through the Cottonwood Wetland, where EPNR staff educated Jackson and her staff about the native plants and explained how the wetland was built.

Hundreds of Community members and employees came out to enjoy the food and carnival rides, rock out to the music, and just to people-watch while welcoming the new year.
