Preparatory and Coaching Class

Welcome to all future Salt River Police Department Team Members!

The Salt River Police Department is excited to host the 2nd Preparatory and Coaching Class. The classes are designed with the intent to assist Community Members and potential applicants in becoming better prepared for the necessary processes involved in becoming a Salt River Police Department Team Member.

The 2nd Preparatory and Coaching Class will be at the Roundhouse Cafe "Sun Room" located at 10047 E. Osborn Rd. Scottsdale, AZ, 85256 on August 31st, 2017 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM.

The Salt River Police Department will be discussing the listed (below) areas:

  • What to expect about the application process.
  • Recommendations of how to prepare for a panel interview.
  • What to expect for the various job specific testing processes
  • What abilities, skills, knowledge, training, education and experience will assist you to become a better candidate.
  • Recommendations of how to study and be best prepared for the testing processes.

In addition to these topics, examples of practice testing materials will be demonstrated, that may include:

  • Logic, reasoning and problem solving.
  • Grammar, punctuation and vocabulary.
  • Typing test (if applicable) or other skill set tests (such as "CritiCall").

Future applicants will also have time to ask questions, and get clarification on expectations for specific job opportunities.

The Salt River Police Department is dedicated and committed to continuing our Community-Based Policing actions and efforts.
