Fire Chief Dave Bunce

Welcome to the Salt River Fire Department Web site. The Salt River Fire Department has a long history of providing quality safety and emergency services to the Community for over 25 years. The dedication of the men and women of this organization is a testament to the progressive changes which have propelled Salt River to be one of the top tribal fire departments in the country.

The major difference between the Salt River Fire Department and others may be the total dedication of the firefighters and staff to the mission of customer satisfaction. Any employee should be able to answer questions about our services and have the empowerment to get answers or find a solution to whatever the need may be.

Minimizing preventable accidents and preventable fires is very important to our service because that way we can assist in making the Community a safe place to live, visit, and work.

We are proud of what we do, we are proud of where we serve, and we are proud to have the ability to change with the needs of the Community and the fire service.
