The Environmental Protection & Natural Resources Division of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC) is currently planning our 2012 Earth Day celebration! Organizations are encouraged to set up environmentally-focused booths/exhibits to promote environmental stewardship and provide environmental educational opportunities. We would also like to encourage booth participants to have an active demonstration or a hands-on activity to ensure the fair is more interactive. This year's Earth Day theme is "Earth Day is Every Day." Last year we had over 850 attendees from the Community and neighboring areas participate, and we expect a larger turnout for this year.

We would like to extend an invitation to you to participate in the Environmental Fair taking place Saturday morning, April 21st, at the Two Waters Tribal Government Complex. Please inform us of any equipment or audio-visual needs you may have, and you are welcome to join us for lunch after the morning's activities. All you have to bring are a few volunteers and your outreach materials. The Two Waters Tribal Government Complex is located at 10005 E. Osborn Rd., Scottsdale, AZ 85256. The event will begin at 7:45am and end at 1:30pm.

Please feel free to contact the EPNR hotline by email at EPNR@srpmic-nsn.gov or call (480) 362-7500 with any questions you might have regarding SRPMIC's event this year. We would love to have your participation and look forward to hearing from you.
