The Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Division of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC) is currently planning our 13th Annual Earth Day Celebration. Organizations are encouraged to set up environmentally-focused booths/exhibits to promote environmental stewardship and provide environmental education opportunities. We ask that all booth participants have an active demonstration or a hands-on activity to ensure the fair is interactive. Over the past several years this Celebration has averaged approximately 1,000 attendees from the Community and neighboring areas, so there is always plenty of opportunity for participating exhibitors to draw awareness to their organization.
We would like to extend an invitation to your organization to participate in the Environmental Fair, and also offer a complimentary lunch from one of our many food vendors. The Environmental Fair will take place Saturday morning, April 22, 2017 at the Two Waters Tribal Government Complex located at 10005 E. Osborn Rd., Scottsdale, AZ 85256. It will begin at 10:00 A.M. and end at 2:00 P.M. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to start time for set up, and bring your outreach materials/displays and a tent (tables and chairs will be provided).
Please feel free to contact the EPNR hotline by email at EPNR@srpmic-nsn.gov or call (480) 362-7500 with any questions you might have regarding SRPMIC's event this year. We would love to have your participation and look forward to hearing from you.
