Vision Statement

Acknowledging our Creator is essential to the vision of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community to improve and preserve the quality of life for our people, the Onk Akimel O'Odham and Xalychidom Piipaash.

We embrace the spirit of our ancestors, elders' wisdom, and create a legacy of honor, pride and respect for our future generations. This vision includes the preservation of the values of our culture and traditions.

Our commitment includes:

Council Districts

Two electoral districts elect the Council members: District I - Salt River and District II - Lehi. Five (5) members are elected from District I and two (2) members are elected from District II. The Council members serve a staggered term of four (4) years.

District I - Salt River is comprised of 5 districts:

A - Dixie Padilla

B - Leonard Rivers

C - Claire Miller

D - Ricardo Leonard

E - Tom Largo

District II - Lehi is comprised of 2 districts:

F - Lynn Myore

G - Deanna Scabby
