On behalf of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC) and the Life Enhancement and Resource Network, we welcome friends, guests and colleagues to the 7th Annual Men and Women's Gathering.
The Community is made up of two tribes: the Akimel O'odham (Pima) and the Xalychidom Piipaash (Maricopa) and although they have separate and distinct languages and customs, they share many of the same values.
We are proud to host this year's conference which will take place August 23-25, 2016 at the Talking Stick Resort located on the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community in Scottsdale, Arizona.
The overall goal of the Men and Women's Gathering is to bring healing and strengthening to our Native families. Guest speakers will share stories of resilience that will inspire the best in all of us. Workshops will give us insight into many of the problems that our Native communities face and help us better understand how we can be agents of change to strengthen our families and build stronger Native Communities.

Each year we provide Native communities the opportunity to showcase their culture through the sharing of song and dance performances with conference attendees. This is a time for us all to come together in celebration to share the uniqueness of our communities. If you are interested in providing a singing or dance group Please contact Joyce Samaripa before February 26, 2016 at 480-362-6820. Limited dinner buffet will be provided for performers only from 5-7pm or until food runs out on the evening of the cultural exchange. Limit performing groups to no larger than 10 people.

Bellman gratuities are $10.00 per room, round trip and housekeeping gratuities are $3.00 per night per room, per night. Individual guests will be responsible for these charges. These charges will automatically be posted to the individual's portfolio.
Check-in time is 4:00pm and check-out time is 11:00am. Guests arriving prior to 4:00pm will be assigned accommodations as they become available.
Guests will be responsible for Room, tax, bellman, housekeeping gratuities and all other incidentals. Bellman and housekeeping gratuities will automatically be posted to the guest's individual folio.
*All guests checking into the hotel will need to have a valid credit card and identification in order to check in to the resort.
