| Dear Children's Fund
Hello.... I live in one of the tribal group homes on the reservation and appreciate the many things the tribe has helped me with my life and feel that they can help me with this as well. I have a once in a lifetime chance to go and visit Washington D.C. with my school. My school is taking a couple of students to the nation's capital and all my life I have been wanting to visit the place where our pride as an American nation stands. I have studied many things about the American history, and now I have a chance to see what I have spent my time learning about. I wanted to ask you people if you could help me with the payment which just so happens to be a high amount $1600. I understand if you can't help me but I just wanted to know if you could help me with the payment...I don't really ask for much but I feel like I have a chance to go places and I am going to take that chance... I am a 14 year old in the 8th grade currently attending Kino Junior High School in Mesa...Thank you for your time to read this letter and I hope you can help me. |
