New Assisted Living Community coming to SRPMIC’s Business Corridor

A $30 million project bringing about 175 jobs is coming to the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community’s business corridor.

Construction for the Legacy Village assisted living community in Pima Center, near North Pima Road and East Via de Ventura, along Loop 101, is scheduled to start early next year, according to a Pima Center news release.

Western States Lodging and Management and the Colmena Group of Salt Lake City will develop the 230-unit facility within the Pima Center’s 232-acre business park.

Legacy Village is expected to open in 2018.

Pima Center is 98 percent occupied, according to the news release. Facilities on site include Honor Health Rehabilitation Hospital, Rancho Solano Preparatory School, Rural/Metro Ambulance, First American Title, Scottsdale Insurance, Mutual of Omaha and Plexus Worldwide.
