O’ODHAM NIOKI HEMAPIK, 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. at the Cultural Resources Dept. – Building #12. This gathering is held to revitalized and preserve our O’odham language. This monthly meeting is open to fluent Elder O’odham speakers that would like to gather and speak to each other in the O’odham Ñioki. O’odham Ñioki Hemapik planned activities: - Assist with translation requests - Be a part of any discussion regarding O’odham Language - Play games in O’odham - Visit with friends and relatives in our O’odham language < Hear about O’odham-Piipaash Language Program activities < Breakfast refreshments and lunch provided. 8 MONARCH WALK SERIES, 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. at Butterfly Wonderland. Guests ages 12 through adult will meet in the lobby and experience a journey to learn about those amazing Monarchs, their incredible migration and why we tag them, followed by a visit to the Conservatory. Guests will also receive a complimentary monarch temporary tattoo. FREE for members; a $10 donation to our non-profit Butterfly Wonderland Foundation requested from general public, plus cost of admission call (480) 800-3000, ext. 210 to reserve.

WOMEN’S BASKET WEAVING CIRCLE, 9 a.m.- 11 a.m. at the CRD Main Classroom. Open to existing Onk Akimel basket weavers who would like to gather and process will need materials and just spend times weaving with other basket weavers.
