New Year's Eve Celebration

gallery-01 The Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community’s New Year’s Eve Celebration took place at the Salt River Gym parking lot on Thursday, December 31, from 4 p.m. until midnight. A festive evening of midway rides, game booths, chicken-scratch music and food vendors lit up the parking lot. There were fun activities for every age category, which made bringing in 2016 one to remember.

Dialysis Christmas Party Entertains and Inspires

Community Seniors Enjoy Breakfast With Santa

gallery-03 On the morning of December 16, Santa Claus cleared time in his busy schedule to visit the Lehi Community Building and enjoy breakfast with Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community seniors and special guests from District 5 of the Gila River Indian Community (GRIC).

Christmas Programs at Salt River Elementary and Noah Webster Schools

gallery-03On December 11, Salt River Elementary School students gathered outside on the basketball court on a chilly morning to take part in and watch their Christmas program performance.

On Monday, December 14, the Noah Webster Schools Pima Campus held a band, orchestra and piano showcase before the students left for Christmas break, from December 18 through January 1. The showcase included performances by 10 students who played as an orchestra and also performed solos.
