SRPMIC Plays Huge Role in Arizona Rattlers Season Finale!

gallery-01At the final Arizona Rattlers regular-season game on Saturday, August 8, at Talking Stick Resort Arena in downtown Phoenix, groups from the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community took part in a number of activities to support the team and enhance the event. The energy from the more than 12,000 fans who attended the game against the Portland Thunder was evident throughout the game and during the pregame and halftime activities.

Annual Apprenticeship Luncheon Recognizes Journeyman Recipients

gallery-02On Friday, August 21, the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community Employment Department hosted the annual Apprenticeship Appreciation Luncheon at Talking Stick Resort. Twenty-two Community members who participated in the Apprenticeship Training Program received their journeyman certificates in front of family, friends and colleagues.

Breaking the Stereotypes of Golf for Native Youth
