Let the Games Begin!

On Friday, February 27, the 2015 Senior Games were held at the Salt River Community Building. Seniors from various Native American communities traveled to the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community to participate in a day’s worth of fun and exercise. Approximately 16 teams traveled to SRPMIC in hopes of taking home a trophy and bragging rights.

 

Lady Eagles Varsity Team Makes it to State Championship

Salt River High School’s first year in the Canyon Athletic Association (CAA) was a very successful one for the Lady Eagles. They finished 18-2 in the regular season and even played in the CAA State Championship Game, held on February 23 at the Talking Stick Resort Arena.

 

Salt River Elementary Get Inspired From Character Counts Assembly
