Salt River Junior High Lady Eagles Finish Second in CAA Tournament

The undefeated Salt River Junior High School girls basketball team played for the state basketball championship on Saturday, February 14, in the 2015 Canyon Athletics Association (CAA) Division I state championship against Sequoia Pathway.

 

Casino Arizona and Phoenix Suns Host a Pep Assembly for SRHS

Special guest and host Tom Leander, broadcaster for the Phoenix Suns, kicked off a pep assembly on February 18 inside the Salt River High School gymnasium, where nearly 200 students were in attendance to celebrate the NBA FIT Program.

 

Sixth-Grader Plays in CAA Charter School All-Star Game

  Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community member David Smith, son of Community members Jody and Daniel Smith and a student at Salt River Elementary School, was invited to play in the CAA Charter School All-Star basketball game to represent his school. The game was held at the Talking Stick Resort Arena on February 9.
