Community Elects New President, Council Representatives

On September 2, the largest-ever number of enrolled Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community members exercised their right to cast votes in the Community’s 2014 general election. The newly elected president is Delbert Ray, Sr., with 1,069 votes. With 1,131 votes, incumbent Martin Harvier holds onto the office of vice-president.
