Salt River Police Department

Salt River Fire and Police Departments would like to honor our past and present by displaying photographs, tools and other artifacts that have been used to protect and serve the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community.

The Salt River Fire and Police Departments are very proud to work together serving the Community. As our training and duties differ at times we share common goals; to save lives and to continue to make the community a safe place for SRPMIC present and future.

Salt River Police Department Mission Statement:
The Salt River Police Department is committed to a partnership of public SERVICE, the prevention of crime and the preservation of the peace, safety and order within the Salt River Indian Community.

We are committed to fostering an atmosphere of mutual RESPECT with all citizens we contact, by rendering service in a professional and courteous manner.

The Salt River Police Department will instill PRIDE and "esprit de corps" in its officers by maintaining a quality work environment, along with effective training and leadership that will result in DEDICATED service-based policing.

Salt River Fire Department Mission Statement:
To safely provide a full range of emergency response and prevention services in a professional, efficient and customer-oriented manner to the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community.

Our focus is the safety of our personnel and the prevention of fires and human injuries.

We will maintain a high state of readiness to mitigate all types of fires, medical emergencies, and the threat of potential disasters.

The fire department will also strive to provide positive role models through educational and lifestyle examples to the youth and all people.
