LEARN Program Cuts Ribbon on New Opportunity Center

The Life Enhancement and Resource Network (LEARN) held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, July 10, for its new Opportunity Center, located west of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community Health and Human Services building. Community members of all ages were welcome to see what the new resource center has to offer.

New Court Building Coming to SRPMIC

I’m sure you’ve wondered when the construction will break way for the new court building. North of the Two Waters Building A on the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC) Government complex, is an empty lot. SRPMIC Engineering Construction Services has plans to transform this dirt lot into a Court Building, with approximately 65,000 square feet of upgrade.

 

Salt River Fire Department 2012 Awards Recognizes Top Fire Fighters

On Wednesday, July 10, employees and guests of the Salt River Fire Department (SRFD) gathered at Casino Arizona for a lunch and awards presentation recognizing the outstanding employees of 2012. Firefighters and staff were recognized for their hard work and dedication to the department and to the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community.

 

Healthy Living with Chronic Conditions
