Eagle Scout Candidate Assists SRPMIC Family Advocate Center

On January 26, the Salt River Police Department presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Chandler Simpson, an Eagle Scout candidate with the Boy Scouts of America, in appreciation for his continuing efforts and contributions to the Salt River Police Department and the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community through the Family Advocacy Center (FAC).

September 11, 2011 marked the 10-year remembrance of the terrorist attack on the United States. This event forever altered our lives. The events of that day resulted in a momentous loss of life and property in New York, Pennsylvania and at the Pentagon, and we have spent the past decade grieving for those who were taken from us.
