Congratulations to Kaya Hayes and Aaron Makil of the Mesa Westwood Little League (MWLL) All-Stars Team! Their team represented MWLL well by making it to the championship game for the district title. The championship game was held on Saturday, July 10. They gave it their all and received second place. The team was presented with a trophy for all their hard work.

To both Aaron and Kaya—way to play hard and represent your families, your Community, and most of all who YOU are! Just remember second place is always better than third, and keep playing like every game is the championship game.

Kaya, we’re all glad that you were able to make it back from Oregon in time to play; your team really needed you. It really seemed like you had a great time. Everyone is so proud of both of you!
