Announces Theme for
28th Annual NARD Parade
 
WHAT: 
28th Annual Native Connections (NAC) and Native American Recognition Days (NARD) parade will celebrate the theme "ANCESTRAL TREASURES:  EXPRESSIONS, THROUGH ART, MUSIC AND DANCE."
 
NAC and NARD committee members chose the theme in hopes of inspiring participating groups to showcase their organizations by displaying native art, music and dance.
 
The NAC parade has always been one of the highlights of NARD and is open to any group that wants to display an entry promoting the theme.
 
Parade applications are available at www.nativeconnections.org
 
WHERE:
The parade will begin 3rd Street and Oak and proceed North down 3rd Street to Steele Indian School Park.  Registration will be in the parking lot of Monterey Elementary School at 3rd Street and Oak.

Parade Start: 9AM SHARP!
