Location: Start Date: Mar 3, 2010 End Date: Apr 28, 2010 Contact Name: Chris Horan Contact Email: announce-cro@srpmic-nsn.gov Contact Phone: (480) 850-8056 Admission Fee: Details: PUBLIC NOTICE The SRPMIC Environmental Protection & Natural Resources (EPNR) Air Quality Program (AQP), has developed three Air Quality Ordinances that have been approved by Tribal Council for a 60 day comment period. * Open Burning Ordinance: Seeks to limit pollution exposure to Community Members by limiting the total amount of particulate matter (PM) emissions into the Community's air caused by unregulated open burning activities. * Fugitive Dust Ordinance: seeks to mitigate and limit dust emissions into the ambient air from any property, operation, or activity that may serve as a fugitive dust source within the Community. * Agriculture Fugitive Dust Ordinance: Seeks to limit the amount of fugitive dust emissions into the ambient air by any agricultural-related operations that serve as a fugitive dust source.
