PUBLIC NOTICE
 
The SRPMIC Environmental Protection & Natural Resources (EPNR) Air Quality Program (AQP), has developed three Air Quality Ordinances that have been approved by Tribal Council for a 60 day comment period.
 
 
Open Burning Ordinance:  Seeks to limit pollution exposure to Community Members by limiting the total amount of particulate matter (PM) emissions into the Community's air caused by unregulated open burning activities. 
Fugitive Dust Ordinance: seeks to mitigate and limit dust emissions into the ambient air from any property, operation, or activity that may serve as a fugitive dust source within the Community.
Agriculture Fugitive Dust Ordinance: Seeks to limit the amount of fugitive dust emissions into the ambient air by any agricultural-related operations that serve as a fugitive dust source.
