Location: Start Date: Mar 1, 2010 End Date: Mar 13, 2010 Contact Name: Ron Fasano Contact Email: announce-cro@srpmic-nsn.gov Contact Phone: (480) 850-8056 Admission Fee: Details: EFFECTIVE March 1, 2010 Human Resources will be offering a new and exciting option when applying for open positions! We are installing an on-line system to more efficiently process applications and improve communication with applicants. Paper applications will still be accepted from Community members and are required for Temporary positions; these are available at Human Resources. We recommend everyone to apply via the internet as there are many advantages. When the system is activated: * Apply on-line from any computer that has the internet. Creating an e-mail account is required. * Kiosks will be located in the lobby of HR to complete on-line applications. * HR staff will provide assistance to walk you through the application process and to assist you with setting up an e-mail account. * Once you apply for a position you will have a specific ID that will enable you to apply for multiple positions. You will no longer have to fill out multiple applications for different positions. * You will receive an e-mail confirmation that your application has been received and processed. * Updating your application will be easy. * You can check the status of your application so you will not have to call. * E-mail is an efficient way to communicate but you can select the option if you prefer telephone contact. * Our web site www.srpmic-nsn.gov/employment will change to include: o Employment Opportunities - open to the Community and Public o Internal Opportunities - for current employees o Benefits information o Frequently Asked Questions o Job Interest cards- by selecting a category you will receive an e-mail when a position opens that matches your selection Human Resources is excited to offer this change as it will enhance our process and the applicant's experience. We are committed to making this transition as smooth as possible for Community members and will continually work to make them comfortable with this system. Regards, Robin Enos
